What we do

The first JRAN Forum, convened in August 2020 of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, brought together our network of grassroots organisations, charities, and distinguished keynote speakers and panellists to discuss the most pressing issues facing today's refugee aid work.

In 2020, the Forum brought together leaders to discuss the following topics:

  1. Mental Health

  2. Employment

  3. Advocacy & Campaigning

  4. Delivery on the Ground

Beyond knowledge sharing, JRAN is committed to positive action.

Following breakout discussion groups, members concluded with three actionable points each to carry forward within their organisations.

To stay up-to-date with news, be sure to subscribe to the JRAN Newsletter. Read below.

The JRAN Newsletter brings together the latest news from organisations' across our network. We seek to support the great work of our members by promoting their activities and campaigns, as well as offering opportunities to members.

As part of our mission to share knowledge and stay connected to grassroots organisations and charities doing important refugee aid work, communication is key. We are currently exploring the possibility of building an app to facilitate our community discussions and knowledge sharing. Watch this space.

If you would like to contribute to the building of our app, whether monetarily or by volunteering your time and expertise, please get in touch at: jointrefugeeactionnetwork@gmail.com. We'd love to hear from you!
