Launching this year's Future Leaders Programme!
Updated: Jan 21
The Future Leaders Programme is a leadership course specifically for refugees and asylum seekers aged between 18 and 27 who are looking to develop communication and leadership skills alongside others from their communities. The programme is supported by One to One Children's Fund.
Online workshops, and one-to-one mentoring led by inspirational leaders from across the UK will help you develop a range of new skills and a supportive network, empowering you to support others in your own community. The core workshops are development-focused and will tap into your innate creativity.
Towards the end of the programme, you will be teamed up with an experienced professional who will be your coach and together you will be taken through a coaching programme run by our partner organisation, CIRCL.
Following successful completion of the Future Leaders Course you will become a part of a dynamic and diverse network of leaders spread across the UK. Ongoing Alumni support and opportunities to network with fellow graduates and leaders ensure the impact of Future Leaders is felt across our communities.
The course runs for 2 hours every Tuesday morning and the 2022 cohort will start on February 15th.
If you are successful in your application you must commit to attending these weekly sessions run online over the four month programme period.
The programme is fully funded and will include tech support and a payment of £100 to each participant to cover costs.
On completion of the course, participants will be expected to share their skills by supporting others in their communities.
Applications close on January 24th 2022.
